Robust Dissemination of Sensitive Personal Data to Support Decision Making in Emergency Situations
一、演講時間：2019/7/18 (四) 10：30 - 12：00
三、講 者：Aldri Santos, Professor of the Department of Informatics at Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), Curitiba, Brazil
The popularization of the Internet has led to the increasing availability of online services. Many of these services, due to their interactivity characteristics, have required the creation and maintenance of dynamically established local or global network infrastructures in to ensure their operation. Recently, the demand for smart healthcare services in networks (s-health) has been highlighted, given their importance in people's lives. Due to the nature of the provided services, s-health handles sensitive and critical personal data, thus security must be preserved. Data dissemination should observe the context and the urgency of the information involved, once its prompt availability is essential to help in the definition of the right attendance. Data disseminating involves information sharing. Therefore, it is essential to ensure the availability and reliability of the dissemination of such sensitive data to third parties in urgent situations to avoid harming the health of involved people. This talk presents STEALTH (Social Trust-Based HEALTH Information Dissemination Control), a system that employs social trust and communities of interest (CoI) among people to control the dissemination of their sensitive data in emergencies on dynamic environments. Social trust, established by the similarity of interests of the device owners, allows the formation of communities of interest and support the availability of services.
